Visit with Andrea & Max

Andrea & Max came and spent a few days with us - the cousins had such a great time! Cooper was especially THRILLED to see his buddy Max. We went to little farm and fed cows and goats; visited Kennedy Park & fed more goats, rode the merry-go-round and Kennedy went on a pony ride. Fun times!!

Kindergarten Graduation!

Kennedy has officially graduated from kindergarten! She learned how to read (in 6 weeks!), particularly loves math, and made many new friends. She is moving on to 1st grade - with two loose teeth, a teenager sassiness and a healthy confidence. What a girl!

Alyssa & Ryan's Bridal Shower

We made a trip down to southern CA for my sister's bridal shower at the end of May. It was a FULL house at mom & dad's: Peep & Ryan; Kyle & Jen; Conrad & Pammie; Andrea, Xavo & Max and the four of us. The weather was great, the yard was gorgeous and mom cooked and prepped for weeks prior - it was a really relaxing visit! Thanks Mom & Dad!! The three little ones had a blast - Grandpa hooked them up with a hot tub just their size and they spent a good majority of the weekend naked. (It's a dream!) Cooper woke up from his nap on Sunday demanding "MAX!" !!! Here are a few of my favorite pics...

Kennedy's Masterpiece

I {heart} New York

(Belated post here...) We had SUCH an amazing time in NY... we had a great opportunity to reconnect with friends and family and realized we need to make it back East more often! Thanks to everyone who fed us, visited with us and to Caspar & Van for spoiling us rotten for two weeks!

The Big Apple - Part I

We've been visiting New York for the past week (2 for me) and have had a wonderful time... While I'm working during the day, Sam & the kids have been hitting all the local parks with Opa & Yaya. Evenings have been spent with fun visits to friends & family. (Sam and I even caught a show this week - THANKS VAN & CASPAR!) Cooper & Kennedy have been enjoying NY in different ways - Kennedy really loves the pizza, Cooper loves walking everywhere. Kennedy - well, she's getting used to the walking, but the true CA girl still has to ask "why didn't we take the CAR?" Here are just a few photos of the kids goofing around - more to come when I download the camera next week.

SNOW!

We rented a cabin in Arnold last weekend with Nate, Jessica, Callan & Oscar. Kids and adults alike had a fantastic time! It's a great little area and the weather was perfect. There wasn't any snow on the ground when we arrived, but Friday night it snowed a couple of inches and just a few miles up Highway 4 there was plenty of snow and a few good sledding hills! We toured a cave on our way home and stopped for lunch in the quaint little town of Angels camp...
