Birthday Girl

Kennedy turned 7 in September - and for her birthday, she got her ears pierced! Auntie Peep, Emily Fitzgerald, Kennedy & I spent the day at Bay Street having lunch, eating cupcakes and shopping before heading to a SURPRISE party in our joint honor.

Kennedy's favorite - and therefore Cooper's favorite - movie and soundtrack is GREASE. We're going on five months now of the same two songs on repeat; but I'll take it - thank goodness High School Musical fell on the Henselmann family charts! The kids constantly ask for the "Ooo ooo song" - and Cooper's second favorite is "Tell me more song". Without further ado, I give you Cooper...

A Naked Tiger

Cooper's new favorite thing to do is draw. Santa brought the kids window markers & they sure get a lot of use out of them. They've also tagged the walls in their room - which they are now allowed to do, but only until I repaint. Wish me luck attempting to UNteach a 2 year old to draw on walls. So now I hear a lot of:
"Momma, draw wall?"
"Momma, draw window?" & the newest
"Momma, draw self?"

Back to Reality

I have a ton of holiday photos to share, but need to finish uploading & scrolling through them for my favorites... In the meantime, I thought I'd share this classic pic that Sam just emailed to me. We all had two weeks off - spent a week in LA with my parents and a week at home. It was great family time & much needed R&R! But sadly, today was an early morning for all of us and back to the real world.
